Mary Alma Mater hand-made painted wood cross (perfect for CC students and graduating seniors) from the Basilian Mission.The Basilian Fathers have a ministry serving the underprivileged communities of Colombia through education and evangelization. Their work is founded on the Basilian principles of goodness, discipline, and knowledge; values which our own sons embrace every day. Established within a war zone at its inception, relative peace has been restored, however, there remains a great deal of pain in confronting the hunger, unemployment, violence and poverty within the parish community. The Colombian parish offers various life skill enhancement programs including health care, sewing shop and wood shop among others. Their wood shop has created these gorgeous crosses to support their programming. These gorgeous wooden crosses have hand painted imagery. They would make a lovely present.
